Kentucky VDT shows fantastic movement during Franklin progeny test
ERMELO – Today, the VDT Horses-bred foal, Kentucky VDT, was shown in the ring during the KWPN progeny test. Kentucky VDT was presented as part of the group of Franklin’s progeny; the winner of the 2013 KWPN Performance Test. Kentucky VDT showed himself very well and came second.
In general today, there were uniform groups of foals who nearly all had a dressage build. Franklin’s progeny however stood out the most. They showed fantastic movement, with extra carriage, front leg use and excellent balance in trot. Kentucky VDT, a son of the elite EPTM mare Delypsa II VDT (Wynton x Calypso I) came second after the foal Kaliber L (dam’s sire Rubin Royal) bred by the Lamers family in Osch.
Kentucky VDT will now be turned away and we will wait, full of anticipation, to see how he develops further.
